He was predeceased by: his parent Georgie Taylor; and his brothers, Boyd Swecker, Sam Taylor, Jr. and David Ellis Taylor. He is survived by: his daughters, Anna Marie Jones (R. Michael) of Rural Retreat and Kathy Starick of Harrisonburg; his grandchildren, R. Michael Jones, Brandon Jones, Pamela Smith and Lacy Stajduhar; his cousin Kaye Swecker; his niece Stacey; his caregiver Tammie Myers; and his close friends, Larry, Bobby Whetzel and Taylor Whetzel. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
