She is survived by: her husband Walter H. Knox, III; her children, Amy Sheffer (Terry Sheffer) of Purcelville, Jennifer Knox of Broadlands and Davis Knox (Alison Knox) of Leesburg; her grandchildren, Cole, Adrienne, Gabriel Sheffer, Abbie and Paige Knox; her sister Margaret Thomas; and her niece Kathy Landis.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites memorial contributions to the Central Valley Habitat for Humanity, 205 Dry River Road, Bridgewater, VA 22812.
