She was predeceased by: her parents, Jenelue Price and Voliver Price; her former husband Charles Edward Simmons; and her husband James Ivan Howdyshell. She is survived by: her son Dennis Simmons of New Market; her grandsons, Charlie Simmons (Catherine) of Fort Defiance, VA, Nick Simmons of Mt. Crawford, VA and Mike Simmons (Caroline) of Arlington, VA; her great grandchildren, Addison, Tyler, Milly, Emma, Haley and Juliette; and also Vickie Rule. She is also survived by family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Oaklawn Cemetery. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the same location.
