He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Minnie (Ritchie) and Bertram Monroe Spencer; and his brother Ritchie Spencer. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Spencer; his daughter Karen Spencer of Rockingham; and his grandsons, James Coleman McCormick, III and William Spencer McCormick.
