He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Reid; his brother Carl Edwin Kinkead, Sr.; and his nephew Dale Kinkead. He is survived by: his parent Eunice Grim Kinkead; and his nieces and nephews, Phyllis Hart (Sam), Donna Orr (Dwight), Fred Kinkead (Susan), Cheryl Smith (Alfie) and Rhonda Brubaker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridgewater Fire Department, 304 North Main Street, Bridgewater, VA 22812.
