He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Hinkle (Mauzy) and John Ray Hinkle. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hinkle (Holt); his children, Suzanne Hinkle of Winchester, Elizabeth Hinkle of Fairfax and Matthew Hinkle (Kathy) of Mechanicsville; his granddaughters, Zelda and Ava Hinkle; his sister Sarah Warner (Daniel) of Fairfax; and his niece Rebecca Paschal.
