He is survived by: his wife Virginia Fay Stover; his children, Jean Elizabeth Pyper of St. George, Nancy Elaine Rock of Moyock, NC, John Howard Stover of Franklinton, LA and Thomas Edward Stover of Knotts Island, NC; and his sister Ruth Margaret Burrell of Brookings, Oregon. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
