He was predeceased by: his father Marshall Garst; and his brother Frederick Garst. He is survived by: his mother Freda Garst of Bridgewater; his wife Kimberly Garst; his children, Dustin Garst, Brandon Garst (Kimberly), Ryan Garst, Shay Garst (Erica Shifflett) and Lillian Garst; his sisters, Teresa Kiser (Keith) and Marsha Garst (David Rao); his sister-in-law Sue Garst; and his grandchildren, Avery Garst, Kinsley Garst, Eli Garst, Tiffany Garst, Leah Garst and Jackson Garst. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
