He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Alegra (Morris) and James O. Riddle; his wife Josephine Juanita Riddle (Howdyshell); his brothers, James Jr., Warren, Donnie and Bobby Riddle; and his pet Molly Ann.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Riddle of Bridgewater and Mark Riddle of Washington, D. C.; his siblings, Shirley Brooks of Harrisonburg, Janet Humes (Eddie) of Harrisonburg and Dale Riddle (Tammy) of Broadway; his sisters-in-law, June Riddle of Harrisonburg, Jodi Riddle of Harrisonburg, Marie "Snookie" Smith of Bridgewater and Joann Riddle of Richmond; and his pet Abby.
