She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Taylor and Virginia May Clarke Mason; her husband Floyd Garland Viands, Sr.; her stepsons, Floyd Garland Viands, Jr. and Gary L. Viands; and her brother John C. Mason.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Randy E. Viands, Kevin Mitchell Viands, Vickie S Viands Breeden, Karen Melissa Steeley and Onie Drucilla Stoner; her siblings, Karl Eugene Mason (Joyce) and DeAnna Eloise Mason Steward (Larry); and her close friend Susan Pleasant. She is also survived by 12 step-grandchildren; and numerous great step-children, nieces and nephews.
