He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Stover and Annette Sellers Evers (Myers); and his siblings, Stanley, Norman, Rudolph Evers, Shelby Simmons and Phyllis Glick.
He is survived by: his daughter Annette Evers; his siblings, Franklin Evers (Joyce), Bonnie Guyer (Bob) and Juanita Hopkins (Kenny); and his brother-in-law Layton Yancey (Vicki). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service (208 S Main St, Bridgewater, VA 22812). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mossy Creek Presbyterian Church (372 Kyles Mill Rd, Bridgewater, VA 22843).
