He is survived by: his children, Denny Sheffer (Randi), Terry Sheffer (Amy), Keith Sheffer and Randy Sheffer (Michele); his brothers, Gene Sheffer (Joyce) and Clifford Sheffer (Judy); his grandchildren, Skylar Sheffer (Christian), Darrin Sheffer (Heather), Cole Sheffer, Matthew Sheffer, Jonathan Sheffer, Sydney Sheffer, Trey Sheffer, Hannah Sheffer, Addie Sheffer, Adrienne Sheffer and Gabriel Sheffer; his great grandchildren, Soren Sheffer, Hadley Sheffer and Colten Foschini; and his close friend Charlie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service (208 S Main St, Bridgewater, VA 22812). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Montezuma Church of the Brethren (4937 Ottobine Rd, Dayton, VA 22821).
