It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dewey Carlyle Grimm of Bridgewater, Virginia, born in Middlebrook, Virginia, who passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey A. Grimm and Anna Mary Grimm (Byerly); and his brother Owen Grimm. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Maxine Grimm (Halterman); his daughters, Beverly Will (Joe) of Bridgewater, Sathena Liskey (Mike) of Bridgewater, Maxine Arey (Carl) of Bridgewater and Carla Mitchell (Danny) of Bridgewater; his brother Raymond Grimm (Lani) of Front Royal; his grandchildren, Joanie Cummings (Josh), Jenny Humes (J. R.), Charlotte Will (Timon Cooper), Hunter Liskey (Brittany), Eric Liskey, Matthew Arey (Shana), Jeremy Arey (Kayla), Polly Arey Cason (Steven), Kristy Gleason (Jarrod) and Kellie Breeden (Todd); and his sister-in-law Marlene Grimm. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
