He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence McDorman and Mamie McDorman (Carr); and his siblings, Carroll McDorman, Ruth Biller and Jennifer Charles.
He is survived by: his children, David McDorman, John McDorman (Jamie), Matthew Hohenstein, Brandon Hohenstein (Valarie) and Alyssa Schofield (Daniel); his brother Grattan McDorman; and his grandchildren, Andrew McDorman, Callie McDorman, Colton McDorman, Anastasia Schofield and Victoria Schofield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Funeral and Cremation Service (208 S Main St, Bridgewater, VA 22812). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Service - Bridgewater (208 S Main St, Bridgewater, VA 22812).
