We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2020, at the age of 92, Darleen Martin (Bridgewater, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Willanna Suter (Welch); her husband Jacob Elburn "Jay" Martin; and her daughter-in-law Jeanie Martin. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Walsh (Michael), Jeanette Hess (Bob), Jacob Martin and Mark Martin (Candy); her grandchildren, Christina Hathaway (Sonny), Jessica Moran (Shawn), Andrew Walsh, Benjamin Hess (Melissa), Jessie Hess and Jacob Martin Courtney Alston (Mindi); and her great grandchildren, Skylor, Mason, Mitchell, Peyton, Bryce, Laurel, Claire, Kate, Brendan, Carter and Aaralyn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions be made to the Mt. Olive Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 182, Hinton, VA 22831.
