He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry V. Weaver and Glenna Sherman Weaver. He is survived by: his sons, Matthew (Rebecca) of Bridgewater, Jonathan (Sarah) of Charlottesville and Robert of Harrisonburg; his grandchildren, Salem and Piper Weaver; and his sisters, Patsy Will (Larry) of Chestertown, MD and Judy Estep (Chuck) of Harrisonburg.
