She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Otis Winters and Dortha Winters; her siblings, Otis Lee and Joyce; and her husband Dr. Harold Ezra Huffman. She was also cherished by Mother - when God blessed their marriage with four wonderful children.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lantz Chapel at Bridgewater Retirement Community (302 N 2nd St, Bridgewater, VA 22812). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lantz Chapel (302 N 2nd St, Bridgewater, VA 22812).
Barbara Ellen Winters Huffman, 83, breathed her last breath of earth's air on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, finally achieving victory over the Alzheimer's Disease she had endured for 22 years. Although Alzheimer's was a significant factor in the last quarter of her life, it did not define the first three quarters.
