He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. Smith Jr. and Dorthey B. Smith; and his sister Annette M. Smith. He is survived by: his sisters, Regina S. Thacker and Melinda L. Smith; his nephew James R. Colbert, Jr. (Rebecca); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordan and Natalie Colbert; his brothers, Thunder Lane, Jeff Scott and Darren McKinney; and his close friends, Danial Bristol and Bart Gough. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Viewing was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church (15055 Stevensburg Rd, Brandy Station, VA 22714). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
