He was predeceased by: his father Carey Meade Brown, Sr.; his children, Donna Rae Brown-Maxwell (Randolph) and Robert "Bob" Wade Brown; and his brother Roger Lee Brown. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Brown and Carey "Billy" Brown, III; the mother of his children Patsy Brown; his siblings, Katherine "Kitty" Utz and Russel Kyle Brown (Donna); his sister-in-law Judy E. Brown; his granddaughters, Bobbi J. Brown and Danielle Maxwell; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, River, Marlee, Bradyn, Aiden and Liam. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
