She was predeceased by: her parent Lee Roy Vaughan; her husband Warner Vann Whitehead; and her sons, Warner V. Whitehead, Jr., Wayne L. Whitehead and Robert V. Whitehead.
She is survived by: her parent Fannie Mae Cook Vaughan; her children, Beverly W. Stewart (John) and Gene Whitehead; and her grandchildren, Warner V. Whitehead, III, Michael L. Whitehead, Adam E. Whitehead, Rachel R. Stewart and Jeremy W. Stewart. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
