She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Compton and Nellie Hazlewood Compton; her husband Thomas Lee Bishop, Jr.; and her stepdaughter Joanne Bishop Pearce. She is survived by: her children, Brandi Tanyer (John), Jaclyn Bishop (Alex), Nellie B. Walters (Jason), Michael Wayne Elders, Jr. (Liz) and Thomas Lee Bishop, III (Anna). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to any favorite charity.
