He was predeceased by: his parents, Neville Hamblin and Jennie Harris Hamblin; his grandparents, Ben and Rachel Harris; his daughter Denise Renee Burton; and his son-in-law Vernon Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hamblin; his children, Robert Neville Hamblin, II of Milford, CT and Donna Lee Ferguson of Derby, CT; his granddaughter Tasha Chapman (Troy) of Bridgeport, CT; and his stepsons, Calvin Carter (Tameka) of South Hill, VA and Alvin Toombs (Tasha) of Otto, NC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
