He is survived by: his wife Candy Hostetter Howerton; his daughters, Summer Howerton (D. J. Reed) of Bracey and Brook Howerton of Richmond; his parents, Richard Howerton and Debbie Howerton of Dolphin; his brothers, Mark Howerton (Michele) of White Plains and Cory Howerton (Brooke) of Valentines; his half-sister Amanda Howerton of South Hill; and his close friends, Pee Wee and Duke.
