He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Crawford and Marion Jeanette Lynn; and his stepfather James E. Willcox. He is survived by: his wife Linda Diane Willcox; his children, Frances Haggerty (David), James David Willcox, Jr. (Sheila) and Wayne Turner (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Christopher Shackelford, David Shackelford, Britni Shackelford, Jacob Shackelford, Rylee Shackelford, Kailyn Bullock, James David Willcox, III, Kayla Pisall, Aiden Turner, Ella Turner, Tessa Turner and Sadie Turner; his brother George Willcox (Susan); and his aunt Thelma Lane Milliner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crater Road Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes (3935 S Crater Rd, Petersburg, VA 23805). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
