He is survived by: his wife Regina Bracey; his children, Herman Lamont Bracey (Ayesha) of Gastonia, NC, Sherman Hayes (Pamela) of Boydton, VA and Antoinette Renee Smith (Christopher) of Charlotte, NC; his sisters, Doretha Midder of La Crosse, VA, Barbara Fuller (DeWitt) of Richmond, VA and Patricia Bracey of Chester, VA; his in-laws, Beatrice Gregory Bracey (Bob) of Richmond, Edward Gregory (Grizzell) of Richmond, Juanita Timmons of Newbern, NC and James Gregory of California; his grandsons, Kobe Bracey and Marlin Haley; and his cousins, Shirley Bracey Broomer, Marie Barner Wills, James Sherin and Shirley Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Amity Baptist Church (1394 N Mecklenburg Ave, La Crosse, VA 23950).
