She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Lee Mills of South Boston; her parents, Elisha Warren Conner and Gracie Perkins Conner; and her siblings, Dottie Conner Tate (John) of Elmo and Obie Conner of Danville.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Walter R. Norwood, Sr. of Richmond; her nieces and nephews, Sandra Tate Griffith of Daleville, Darlene Norwood Peyton (Alvin) of Mechanicsville, Debbie Norwood Ward (Julian) of Lanexa, John Bernard Tate of Elmo and Walter R. Norwood, Jr. (Loretta) of South Dakota; and her friends, Orville and Bea Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hattie's home church, River Ridge Chapel, 20 Boardman Dr., Bracey, Va. 23019.
