She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father John Warren Simmons; her brother John Wayne Simmons; her husband Willie L. Bennett; her daughter Natalie N. Bennett of Suitland, MD; her mother Maria Simmons of Baskerville, VA; her sister Betty Brown; her niece Jenika Simmons; her nephews, Jabahri Simmons (Neelum), Kenneth Brown and Michael Brown; her siblings-in-law, Louise Simmons (late John), Margaret B. Meade (Milton), Gertrude B. McKeathern, Shirley B. Kirton, Marie Bennett, Julia Bennett, Freddie Bennett (Colleen) and Claude Bennett (Rose); and her friends, Ann Myers of Mount Vernon, NY and Sylvia Gladden of North Chesterfield, VA. She was also cherished by family members, friends and sorority sisters.
