With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Russell Coleman of Bracey, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Bobby Russell departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bobby Russell. Though Bobby Russell may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Coleman; his daughters, Christina Blankenship (Darrell) of Newcastle and Celena Hale (Robert) of Paint Bank; his sister Debbie Pritt (Ray) of Morristown, Tenn.; and his stepchildren, Brian Mitchell and Michelle Mitchell. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory (1504 N Mecklenburg Ave, South Hill, VA 23970). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, they request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Bobby Coleman, a cause Bobby held dear for its mission to help children in need.
