It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sharon Theresa Hasty of Boykins, Virginia, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gillings, Sr. and Rose Often Gillings; her son Theodore Tenzlinger, Sr.; and her brother Joseph Gillings, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robbie Lee Hasty; her children, Tara Tenzlinger, Thomas Tenzlinger and Todd Tenzlinger (Rosalee); and her grandchildren, Theodore, Thomas, Amanda, Alexandra, Charles, Olivia and Alexa.
The family will receive friends at the residence and suggests that memorial donations be made to the Newsoms Baptist Church Building Fund, P. O. Box 312, Newsoms, VA 23874.
