We are sad to announce that on January 3, 2020, at the age of 81, Richard C Grizzard Sr. (Boykins, Virginia), born in Branchville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Joshua Jack Grizzard and Corinne Cleek Grizzard; and his siblings, Gwen Vick and Jack Grizzard. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Rock Grizzard; his sons, Richard C. Grizzard, Jr. (Karisa) of Wilmington, NC, Brian K. Grizzard (Annette) of Richmond and Jeffrey R. Grizzard (Ginger) of Midlothian, VA; his brother-in-law Peter Vick; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Shayna, Brandon, Tyler, Bryce, Kaylee and Cassie.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at Wright Funeral Home in Franklin and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Boykins United Methodist Church Building Fund or Boykins Fire and Rescue Squad.
