With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcia L Garriss of Boykins, Virginia, born in Suffolk, Virginia, who passed away on October 24, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Kenneth Lassiter and Jane Draper Lassiter; and her brother Ken Lassiter. She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Garriss Sledge (Jodie) of Margarettsville and Amy Garriss Penninger (Jeffrey) of Mt. Pleasant, NC; her brother Gene Lassiter of Eufaula, AL; and her grandchildren, Parker Srackangast, Taylor Sledge and Connor Srackangast.
It is also requested that masks be worn and everyone adhere to social distancing rules.
The family requests everyone bring a card with their fondest memory of Marcia and that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Boykins United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 246, Boykins, VA 23827.
