It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Modlin Sr. of Boykins, Virginia, who passed away on November 12, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lulian Parker Modlin and Mildred Rideout Modlin; and his wife Carolyn Carter Modlin. He is survived by: his children, Dee M. Clary (Jason) of Rawlings and Jim Modlin (Cassie) of Sedley; his grandchildren, Parker Clary, Dawson Clary, Carter Modlin and Caroline Modlin; his sisters, Dianne Burgess (J. T.) and Rhonda Modlin; and his godsons, Robert Poland (April) and Richard Poland (Skylar).
