He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie T Barnes and Holly Bridgers Barnes; his wife Betty Babb Barnes; and his siblings, W. R. Barnes, Blannie Barnes Outland and Ola Barnes Garris.
He is survived by: his son Wayne T Barnes (Ann) of Virginia Beach; and his grandchildren, Kayce Barnes of Virginia Beach, Kara Diehl of Virginia Beach and Micah Seltzer of Virginia Beach. He is also survived by three great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Clarksbury Card Ministry, PO Box 172, Boykins, VA 23827 or Boykins Volunteer Fire Department.
