He is survived by: his godson Armond Hendrick of Boydton, Virginia; his siblings, Linda Thorne of Boydton, Katherine Cotton of Richmond, Virginia, Marvin Thorne of Richmond and Charlie Thorne (Joyce) of Henderson; and his nephew Traequan Darden of Boydton, Virginia. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
