He was predeceased by: his father William Robert Mason, Sr.; and his siblings, Southall, Edward, Wilson, James Thomas Mason and Mary Ann Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Mason of Boydton, VA; and his children, Eric Mason of Buffalo Junction, VA, Corey Jant (Thelma) of South Hill, VA and Shannon Mason of Clarksville, VA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, two sisters- in-law, one brother-in-law.
