She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Hayes and Betty Jones Hayes; and her siblings, Helen Williams, Shirley Patillo, George Hayes and Charles Hayes.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd E. Oliver of Boydton, VA; her daughters, Joyce Wynn of Boydton, VA and Brenda Wynn of Boydton, VA; and her sister Lottie McDonald of Newark, NJ. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law.
