He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Harold and Irene Maude Chewning Cobb; and his son-in-law Al Rieder. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Hopkins Cobb; his daughters, Terri Cobb Rieder of Raleigh, NC, Rebecca Cobb of Boydton and Amy Cobb Moore (David) of Boydton; his grandchildren, Heather Rieder, Alec Rieder (Ariba), William Seate (Karly) and Katheryne Seate; his sister JoAnn Williams (Richard) of Stephens City, VA; and his nephew Michael Williams of Stephens City, VA..
