Lester Insley Sutphin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester Insley Sutphin of Boydton, Virginia, born in Floyd, Virginia, who passed away on December 21, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Adams Sutphin; his parents, Roy Harrison and Olya Lester Sutphin; and his sister Arlene Paitsel. He is survived by: his sons, Lester I. Sutphin, Jr. (Anne Edmunds Sutphin) of Richmond and Harrison Adams Sutphin (Anne Marlow Sutphin) of Charlottesville; his grandchildren, William Sutphin (Meredith), Elizabeth Isaacs (Kevin), Peter Sutphin (Andrea), Christian and Harrison Sutphin; his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Walker Sutphin and Harrison Isaacs; his sisters, Jean Huffman (Lloyd) and Carolyn Bishop; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Seek, Martha Adams and Barbara Adams. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews.
