He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, John Paul Tate (Tracy), Molly Tate (Nick Wood) and Jason Tate; his grandchildren, Jude Tate and Lane Tate; and his brothers, Andy Tate (Karen) and Jimmy Tate (Carol).
