She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Smith; and her siblings, Margaret Binford, Elizabeth Jones, Hazel Barnes, Dalton Gregory and Nelson Lee Gregory.
She is survived by: her son Curtis Smith of East Orange, NJ; and her siblings, Joe Louis Gregory of East Orange, NJ, Virginia Blalock (Clarence) of Boydton, VA and Shirley Goodman of Asheville, NC. She is also survived by two grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
