He is survived by: his daughters, April Pinkston (Ben) of Chase City and Stacey Poteat (Chris) of South Boston; his grandchildren, Katie, Cadence, Greyson and Christian; and his siblings, Penny Lacks of South Hill and Linsey Dunn of Florida.
