She was predeceased by: her husband James Garland Evans; and her son Tommy Evans. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Wayne Evans of Boydton, David Neal Evans (Linda) of Concord, NC and Bunny E. Shepherd (Doug) of Boydton; her grandchildren, Melissa Evans VanDyke (Robert), April Evans Davala (Chris), Tonya Gentry (Dustin), Brandon Evans (Lindsay) and Byron Evans (Tasha); and her siblings, Wilburt, Truman, Josephine, Marie and Pauline. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
