She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wayne Shambaugh and Ruth Steiss Shambaugh; her husband Melvin Leroy Polley; her children, Melinda Schriver of Roanoke, VA, Melissa Gorham (Danny) of Springfield, VA, Kevin Polley of Fort Wayne, IN and Tim Polley of Fort Wayne, IN; her grandchildren, Justin Polley, Ben Polley, Kevin Polley, Lauryn Polley, Autymn Polley, Jacklyn Polley, Brooklyn Polley, Michael Polley, Jennifer Galvao, Katie Blum and Emily Gorham; and her great grandchildren, Charlie Blum, Connor Blum, Odin Petro and Oakley Petro.
