He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Purks and June C. Purks; and his grandparents, Mildred Purks, Walter and Lucy Skinner.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lloyd Wayne Purks (Jean) and Diane Purks Bruemmer; his half-siblings, Donald R. Burlock (Mary), Barbara D. Mann (William) and Charlotte D. Burlock; and his aunts, Jean Skinner and Betty Skinner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many life-long friends.
