With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Lynn Cooley of Bowling Green, Virginia, born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 23, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Liebmann Gordon "Lieb" Langston and Laurie Helfer Langston; her husband David A. Cooley; her sisters, Margaret Langston Litan, Miriam "Mimi" Langston Brown and Betsy Langston Gwin of Wichita, Kansas.; her daughters, Sarah Lynn Blackman of Mission Hills and Anne Elizabeth Cooley of Aspen; and her grandchildren, Melinda "Lindy" Blackman and Arthur Ellsworth "Worth" Blackman.
A family memorial service at their home in Prairie Village will be held at a later date due to the Covid epidemic, Contributions to Kindred Hospice of Lenexa, Kansas.
