It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Strother W. Lewis Jr. of Bowling Green, Virginia, who passed away on April 28, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Strother William and Sarah Linda Lewis (Pitts); and his sisters, Catherine Broaddus, Ella Frazier, Virginia Beazley and Mary Lynn Dyson.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Craig B. Lewis (Barbara), Sheryl L. Boyd and Sarah L. Doggett (Todd); his sister Hannah Chance; his sister-in-law Lorene Cornell; his grandchildren, Col. Edward W. Lewis (Samantha), Hilary L. Farnam (Andrew), Kristen Shay Luchynsky (Bill), William Randolph Taylor III, Taylor Blanton Doggett (Caitlin) and Troy Michael Doggett (Alle); and also, Garrett, Strother Luchynsky, Harper, Sutton Lewis, Weston, Owen Farnam and Emerson Doggett.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bowling Green Baptist Church.
