He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Allen and Elizabeth Wright Allen. He is survived by: his brother Jimmy Allen; his wife Barbara Kay Allen; his children, Michael S. Allen (Jane), Matthew S. Allen (Lorah) and Michelle A. Fidler (Tom); his grandchildren, Taylor Allen, Cabel Allen, Kaya Whitlock, Lizzie Allen and Maxwell Allen; his great grandchildren, Rowan and Briar; his sisters, Barbara Ann Smith (Rod) and Mary Cooper (Earl); his siblings-in-law, Jane B. Allen, Joyce Kay, Joan Kay, Jerry Kay and Burleigh Kay, Jr.; and his close friend Charlie Claytor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
