He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard O. Overby and Betty Courtney Overby; his son Joey Overby; and his siblings, Donnie Overby and Gail Hackenson.
He is survived by: his fiancée Brenda Irvine; his daughters, Julie Overby and Kim Sudduth; his grandchildren, Kinsley and Kasen Sudduth; his brother Frank Overby; his brother-in-law Butch Hackenson; and his pets, Sophie and Sadie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
