We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2021, at the age of 70, Julian James Blanton Jr. of Bowling Green, Virginia, born in Milford, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Amy Cowell Blanton of Doswell; his sons, Julian James Blanton III (Jay) and Jeremy Chadwick Blanton (Chad); his daughters-in-law, Jennifer Blanton (Jenny) and Lucy Montalvo-Blanton; his grandchildren, Kyla Marie Blanton, Delana Paige Blanton, Nicholas Ryan LeRose and Julian Joshua Blanton; his mother Bessie Reynolds Allen; and his siblings, Beverly McDearmon (Glenn) and John Thomas Blanton (Renee).
