It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Alice Washington (Bowling Green, Virginia), who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward; her parent Laura Samuels; and her brother Herman "Peter" Carter. She is survived by: her children, Lucille Hevelow (Robert) of Spotsylvania, John Holmes (Margie) of Milford, Betty Childs (Emmett) of Ruther Glen, Virginia Ferguson (Elvis) of Bowling Green, Jo Ann Jones (James) of Milford and Larry (Alisa); and her siblings, Mary Bolling of Alpharetta, GA, James Coleman of Ruther Glen, Mack Coleman of Hague, VA and Cecilia Smith of Ruther Glen.
Interment will follow at Mt. Lawn Cemetery, Woodford, Virginia 22580 Online streaming is available on Facebook live under Anthony S Adams Due to Covid-19 face covering is required.
